For nearly 20 years, Vallée du Ciel (formerly known as Rustic) has been bringing the soul of Romania to life through its dishes. The first Romanian restaurant in the region, it's a simple and sincere place where you discover generous, family-style cuisine full of heart.

I was walking down the boulevard, with no particular idea in mind. That day, a shopkeeper offered me to take over his premises. I hesitated... and yet, something inside me said yes.

2025

After more than ten years of experience, we decided to expand and renovate our space to better welcome our loyal customers in an even warmer setting.

What's the difference between Vallée du Ciel and Rustic?

Vallée du Ciel is the new name of the historic "Rustic" restaurant founded in 2007 at 13 Rue Grétry. The team, the recipes and the spirit remain the same. Another establishment named "Rustic" recently opened at 3 Rue Grétry, it is a different restaurant, unrelated to ours.
